Misc Games is a game developer based in Stavanger – Norway, who aims at developing unique games for various niche markets to drive the industry forward. To achieve this, we treat developers like human beings and video games like art rather than toys.

Everyone at Misc Games has a strong passionate about video games and that’s why we want to evolve the industry into something better. We want to develop games mostly towards the more mature and educated gamers. We are also part of the incubator program at Validé in Stavanger.

Misc Games is a game developer in Stavanger, with five employees.
Their first mobile game, Oil Drill, was voted one of the top five Arcade games released in 2013. In 2018, the simulator game came Fishing; Barents Sea sold internationally, in 18 languages. In 2018, the company entered into an agreement with German Astragon Entertainment, and is now developing the game Fishing: North Atlantic, which will be launched in 2020.

The company was established by Gøran Myrland in June 2013 and in 2014 Jørgen Manke entered as co-owner of the company together with Validé.

Misc Games legger ut på nye hav

Misc Games har signert nye avtaler med den tyske spillutgiver sin Astragon Entertainment verdt flere millioner kroner. Blant annet skal de utvikle fiskefangstspillet i helt nye omgivelser og gjøre spillet tilgjengelig på flere plattformer.
